Brownfields
A brownfield site is land or property in an urbanised zone which has lost its function or is no longer used, and which often suffers from environmental damage and may have derelict factory or other buildings (the term "brownfield" is taken from English, literally meaning "brown fields").
The renovation or revitalisation of this kind of property or land for its effective reuse is supported by EU funds.

| Former agricultural production site. Originally used for agriculture (animal husbandry), there were warehouses and cowsheds here. There is currently no connection to the public water supply, sewerage or gas. Connection to the existing electricity supply is possible, but comprehensive rewiring would need to take place. Brick buildings in fairly dilapidated condition. After careful revitalisation, the buildings could be used again for agricultural purposes or any other noiseless businesssuch as product warehouses or for commercial use. | ||

Drinking water and electricity were supplied to the site. These utility connections are neglected and need to be redone. | ||
